Activities For Kids

Preschool children and toddlers actually have a lot of energy in it and is very important for a person to channel these energies into constructive activities. Parents who do not involve their children in the age of these activities can be very destructive and problematic or aggressive in their toddler-hood.



Research also shows that children involved in activities showing all round development of cognitive skills, language skills, and motor skills. At the age of 2 or 3 toddlers like to do what was once done by their parents, such as washing cars or doing simple chores at home.

Gather the materials around the house such as old phone books, paper, and the pictures and make a child tearing paper into small pieces. You let the child develop motor skills and also enables to feel the texture of the paper.

Another activity you can do with a very small baby in the bath and all the kids like to play with water. Allowing them to splash water or kicking foot in the water. This helps develop the muscles in the hand and foot and is equivalent to swimming. But do not leave your child monitored during this activity.

If your child is around age 2 or 3, you can take them outside the house and playing hop, skip and hop. This is an ideal activity that helps them to think in patterns and also use their hands and feet. It also exercises the entire body and they enjoy it a lot. For them, imitating their parents more fun than doing it alone.
